The 'S' Family
I was worried that we weren't going to get this families session in because when they arrived the rain was really starting to come down! We ventured out when we thought it was letting up and the first few shots were taken in the rain. I don't think you can tell too much (unless you are really looking for it!)
I work with the mom in this family at school and had a lot of fun capturing her family. Thanks 'S' family, hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Addison (5), Kendall (3), & Amaya (1)
This was my second Maplewood session and thankfully the rain held off for their shoot! With three young kids, it wouldn't have been fun to be out in the rain! Their mom was worried about the little guy in the pictures being cooperative and he was a little tricky at first, but after awhile he warmed up to me and the camera (a little bit). I was able to capture some great moments of the three of them interacting. Thanks 'B' family! It was great to meet you!

The 'A' family
I did a few sessions at Maplewood State Park this past weekend and in between rain showers I was able to get them all in (thankfully). This family came all the way from Hawley for a photo shoot w/ me and I had a lot of fun following them around and capturing some fun moments. The mom of three of the kids warned me ahead of time that it might be hard to get good shots of all six of the kids (cousins) but I think they did very well! It is a lot different to have an on location, outdoor shoot versus a studio session. Kids like being outside and don't feel as pressured to smile and hold still and look at the camera (I am not abig fan of those type of pictures, can you tell?)
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites. I have a TON of sessions to edit and post! Come back soon and check them out!
